Stress is a heightened sense of pressure that can present itself in many ways, both physically and mentally.
Signs of stress include:
- Dizziness, chest pain, nausea.
- Irritability, anger, fear.
- Racing thoughts, confusion.
- Change of habits, using alcohol, appetite changes.
Some stress truths:
- Alcohol will not help with stress.
- We all find different things stressful.
- There are no ‘right or wrong’ stressors.
